The Leadership Team in cooperation with the pastoral staff serves as the executive decision-making group of the church body. While individually they may lead out in specific areas, they have a heart for the entire church and work alongside of the pastoral staff to help carry the burden of the mission and vision of Sunset Community Church.

A Deacon at Sunset Community Church is a compassionate servant-leader dedicated to extending Christ’s love through acts of mercy and practical care. Their role focuses on meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the congregation and the wider community, particularly the hurting, marginalized, or underserved.
