Hearing and Making Creativity Workshop – in the Commons

James 1:22 says, “Don’t be hearers of the word, but doers also.” Interestingly, the Greek word for “doers” is the word poeima where we get our word “poem” or the idea of “making” from.

At this workshop, we will practice both “hearing” the word of God, and “doing” (or “making”) – creating something with the word of God in mind. If you consider yourself an artist, please come and share! If you have never considered yourself an artist, you are also more than welcome to explore with curiosity what creativity has to do with your life and God’s purpose for your life.

This workshop is for the whole family! So please come, enjoy hearing, making, and sharing together. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP so we know how much to prepare.
